Premier Inn Bolton West hotel

Lovely staff, simple check-in, quiet, all basic needs met including a hair dryer and clean. What else do I need?

This is the only place we stay when visiting Bolton. The rooms are clean, the staff are very friendly and always available to help. The location is only a 20 minute bus ride to Bolton and the buses are frequent. Bolton Wanderers football ground and the retail park is a 10 minute walk.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, the staff are brilliant so lovely and friendly. My partner needed some peppermint tea, the young girl on the desk, went to the pub next door and got her some for the room. There is 2 young girls, well mid 20s, they are so lovely, will have a conversation with you, the downsides, is the breakfast used to be £10.99 but it were unlimited and food were cooked and under a hot counter, selection of english breakfast and continental pastries. But recently the pub have changed so you order your food, an now its feels alot more expensive. The staff are lovely both in the pub and the hotel but the breakfast change means we won't be getting it again while it stays like that. Also, the pub is mint in the evenings for the atmosphere. Cheap pints too. Also there is a cineworld/asda/Hollywood bowl in the local area. Must say have the steak and ale pie its amazing. the pub does show all sports/TNT. Another downside is you don't get any mobile signal so depend on the hotel WiFi. Another things to bear in mind. Overall for me, brilliant hotel and pub. Its our go to place on the visit up north.

I’ve stayed here with work a few times now and have to say, it’s a fab place, always clean and very well resourced. The best bit is the staff, Adele in particular! She makes us so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Thanks Adele, you are awesome!

Great location without all the traffic on the stadium and shopping side. Plenty of parking, I ended parking on the soft play side without realising there were plenty of spaces if you go around the front. It also has some EV chargers in the carpark. A special mention to Adele, a very warm welcome with a smile (rare these days). It was a quite place which was just what we needed. No trouble would stay again.

Hotel is ideally placed a couple of minutes from the motorway and just off the main road. Meals are provided by the Greene King pub next door, so all good food. And the rooms are your typical Premier Inn which are clean. The shower does have excellent pressure.

Last year I was travelling with my family from crawley and we stayed here for about a week or so. We really enjoyed it. The place wasn’t really crowded or a rush but it was quiet.

Staff were so lovely, nice location, short distance from Horwich Parkway train station, near Tesco Extra and Middlebrook for any essentials. Room was perfect, I couldn't get one of the accessible rooms (as we were in a family room) but I still had plenty of room to safely get around and to store my large walking frame, corridors and doors were easy to use with my frame too. Beds are super comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely amazing too. Thank you for making our weekend much easier x
